These are stills from a stop motion video I made called “Boxing Out”.

Part of my fourth year project at the University of Pretoria.

This work was awarded winner of the Gerard Sekoto Prize at the Absa l’AtelierCompetition 2008.

I was influenced alot by Art Brut and the COBRA movement during this time.

Ambiguity is a conceptual thread through all my Fine Art work.

During my final year at the university I constructed installations as part of my process, but the photographs were the final product.

A diptych honoured with a Merit Award at the Sasol New Signatures Competition 2007.
